ACS WASC was proud to participate in the recent ACAMIS Leadership Conference hosted by Xi’an Liangjiatan International School. Congratulations to Head of School Lily Liu and Deputy Head Brian Lalor for organizing an exceptional event that brought together passionate international educators from across the region.
During the conference, Dr. Margaret Alvarez, Vice President of International Accreditation, and International Consultant Dr. Michael Bevis shared insights on our Excellence in Innovative Practices protocol—an approach that empowers schools to personalize the accreditation process while maintaining strong foundational practices.
We also welcomed a new cohort of Visiting Committee members who completed their WASC training during the conference. We’re inspired by your dedication to school improvement and look forward to working with you on future teams!
And in a fun moment of celebration, congratulations go to Jenny Zhang from WASC-accredited TEDA International School in Tianjin, who won our door prize—a set of mugs created in support of neurodiverse students in Singapore.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this conference a meaningful space for collaboration, learning, and community!
