WASC Webinar Highlights New Tools and Resources for Postsecondary Achievement

On November 13, 2024, educators joined a webinar titled Reimagining Access: Tools and Resources for Postsecondary Achievement. Hosted by Barry Groves, President of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and Tara Thomas, Vice President of the Western Region at College Board, the session addressed how College Board is expanding access to essential tools and resources to support all students in their post-high school aspirations.

The webinar focused on the need to provide students with the resources they need to achieve success, whether they plan to attend college or pursue a career immediately after high school. This goal aligns with College Board’s mission to level the playing field, ensuring that every student has access to relevant coursework, assessments, and planning tools that align with their individual goals and aspirations.

The Reimagining Access webinar reflects a broader movement within the education community to offer resources that empower students from all walks of life. College Board’s expanded tools and initiatives are set to play a pivotal role in this mission, equipping students with the guidance they need to navigate their postsecondary journeys confidently.
