H. Mitchell (“Mitch”) D’Olier is an ACS WASC Commissioner and serves as a Hawaii Public Member. He is currently chair of both the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation and Kaneohe Ranch Company Limited. He retired from full-time service as president and chief executive officer of both organizations on December 31, 2013. He was previously president and chief executive officer of Victoria Ward Limited, and president and chief operating officer of Hawaiian Airlines, Inc. He was also a partner in the Honolulu law firm of Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel. Mitch currently volunteers in activities to close the achievement gap in Hawaii’s public education as Hawaii Regional Chair of Teach For America, as a member of the Hawaii State Public Charter School Commission, and as a director of the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation. He serves as a director of Kaneohe Ranch Company, Grove Farm Company, Inc., the Iowa Law School Foundation and the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. He is also a co-founder, chair and director of Malama Maunalua, an Oahu bay-keeper organization. He was a member of the Hawaii Business Roundtable and served as Co-Chair of the its Education Task Force from July 2010 to June 2014.
