Michael Collins

Michael Collins is one of the two representatives from the California Association of Private School Organizations (CAPSO) on the ACS WASC Commission. Mr. Collins is currently the school director for Mt. Helix Academy, which is one of the schools operated by the Institute for Effective Education, where he has worked for the past 22 years. He is originally from New York and relocated to California in 1998.  He has been in education since 1986 and primarily taught at the junior high school level.
