| Ongoing Process: Public Hawaii: Comprehensive |
| |
The Focus on Learning: Joint WASC/DOE Process Guide is an ongoing school improvement process that assists a school in taking an in-depth look at what currently exists and what needs to be improved in relation to student learning and the school’s program. All public schools in Hawaii will use this protocol, an adaptation of the prior FOL/SID document. |
| |
|
Through the Focus on Learning (FOL) process a school fulfills the requirements for accreditation and forms the basis for the School Strategic Plan for its school including the annual Academic and Financial Plan required by Act 51, 2004 Session Laws of Hawaii.
