Listed below are the distance learning and home study schools currently accredited schools as of February 2011.*

Fully accredited schools classified (by the school) as distance learning or home study are listed below. Be aware that categorization of various non-site based schools is frequently indistinct. In addition to the schools listed below, there are many non-site based schools classified as independent study,most of which are operated by school districts throughout the state. Contact your local school district for specific information about the availability of such programs and associated curriculum delivery options to determine whether they might meet your needs; then check to determine WASC accreditation status.

Since the numbers and types of public non-site based programs are increasing rapidly, we recommend that you research what may be available locally in the category of home study, independent study, and/or personalized learning.
